Can a 14 year old see a 15 movie UK?

No one younger than 15 can go and see a 15 rated film in the cinema. No one younger than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video, DVD or download.
Do you have to show ID at the cinema?
You don’t need ID for ticket collection. The only time you’d need ID is if the show has ID checking on entry which is very rare and you would have been sent clear instructions.
Do cinemas ask for ID for a 15 Odeon?

Is the Odeon strict with ID?
Your ‘Age card’ will prove that you are of suitable age to watch films with age-restricted certificates. Without an ‘Age card’ or a physical form of ID, our staff may reasonably refuse entry if you are unable to prove you are old enough to watch the film.

Can you see an 18 film with a parent UK?
The BBFC rules say that no one under 18 may watch an 18 movie in a cinema, or buy or rent an 18 movie.
Can a 12 year old go to the cinema alone Odeon?
12A means that the BBFC have classified the film unsuitable for children under 12. However, they may still watch the film, as long as they are accompanied by someone over 18 at all times during the showing.
