What Can I Bring On The London Eye?

Can you take food and drink on the London Eye?

Bottled water is permitted onto the London Eye, however no hot food is allowed onto the London Eye. Alcohol is not permitted on the London Eye unless you are partaking in Champagne Experience, and are accompanied by one of our Champagne hosts.

How long do you sit on the London Eye for?

Can I bring a camera on the London Eye?

Cameras are permitted onto the London Eye, however recording devices and tripods are not. If you are looking to capture promotional footage, you must get express permission from our Duty Managers before filming.

Are buggies allowed on London Eye?

Yes. A pushchair/buggy can come with you onto the London Eye but it must remain completely closed/folded throughout the experience, including on the entrance and exit ramps. Please make sure you fold down your buggy prior to joining the boarding queue and open it once you are clear of the exit ramp.

Can you take water into London theatre?

1.5 Customers may not bring their own food or drink into the theatre, but empty reusable water bottles will be permitted. If a customer has specific medical requirements in this respect they should ask to speak to a member of theatre management upon arrival.

Do you have to wear masks on the London Eye?

Is it better to do the London Eye at day or night?

The London Eye is busiest between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the UK school holidays, and is quieter at the beginning and end of their opening hours, which vary throughout the year.

How early should I get to the London Eye?

We advise you arrive around 30 minutes before your Standard or Fast Track experience during off-peak periods. If you are visiting us during a peak period, we advise you allow more time, as the attraction will be busier.

Is there a bathroom on the London Eye?

We have Male, Female and Accessible toilet facilities available in London Eye Ticket Office. Baby Change facilities are also available. Please note there are no toilet facilities on-board the London Eye itself.

What do you wear to the London Eye?

We do not operate a dress code for visiting the London Eye, however we would recommend dressing accordingly for the weather.

The London Eye is one of London’s most popular attractions and at peak times queues are lengthy. If you just turn up on the day you will pay more for your ticket and how long you will have to wait will depend on when the next availability is and the ticket type you select.

Boarding the London Eye will involve some queuing. We do recommend that quieter times of the day to visit are usually early morning for first entry or later in the day towards last entry. During peak periods such as weekends and school holidays, guests may experience longer waiting times to board the London Eye.
