Are the UCF Libraries open to the public?
Patrons without a UCF Library card can use most licensed electronic resources while using a Libraries owned computer at a Libraries location. Off campus access is not available for visitors or community members.
Can Valencia students use the UCF Library?
Valencia students will be able to checkout library materials from UCF. Study rooms are available throughout the building, no reservation required. Library collections will support the following Valencia College academic programs: General Education.
How do I access my UCF Library?
Log in with your UCF NID. Start with links on the Libraries website. Our links connect through OpenAthens and ask you to log in as needed. If you run into access problems, try clearing your cookies and cache and confirming or resetting your NID password.
Where can I study in UCF Library?
Downtown Campus Library
There are four glass study rooms on the 2nd floor, East side of the DPAC building near the Tech Lending desk. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved for use by the Library.
Do you need UCF ID to get into library?
As mentioned above, a UCF ID card is not necessary to access UCF electronic resouces such library databases. However, to check out books or other physical materials from the UCF Library in Orlando, to request articles or books using Interlibrary Loan, you must have a current, active UCF library card number.
Can you room with the opposite gender in UCF?
All of our housing facilities default to single gender suites or apartments, meaning all roommates within a suite are of the same gender identity. Each applicant has the opportunity to create a profile for roommate matching purposes.
Can Valencia students park at UCF?
Students, faculty and staff will need a valid Downtown Campus to park in Downtown Campus garages. Permits can be ordered online at UCF Parking Services. Violations may be subject to a fine. Valencia College faculty and staff need to see their supervisor to obtain a parking permit.

Bringing, possessing, or use of any alcohol or illegal drugs or substances within any library facility is prohibited. Displaying overt signs of alcohol or substance abuse is prohibited and may be reported to the UCF Police.

How do I book a study room at UCF library?
Just visit http://library.ucf.edu/studyrooms/ and click “Reserve a Study Room.” Rooms are available for currently enrolled UCF students and can be reserved for a maximum of two hours per day. A valid UCF ID card or government issued ID is required for checkout at the Rosen Library front desk.
Can I use a University library if I’m not a student?
Yes, you can use the library even if you are not a student.
If you are not currently affiliated with the College as a student or employee, you can still use the library as a community user.
Can non UCF students use the gym?
The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) comprises many programs, such as intramural sports, sport clubs, outdoor adventure, fitness and aquatics. The RWC is open to all students; paid memberships are available for non-students.
Can non students use USF library?
During 24/5 hours of operation, all patrons who enter, or those remaining in the library from 9:00pm to 6:00am, Sunday through Thursday, must be currently enrolled students, faculty or staff and they must have a valid USF ID in their possession.
Co-ed dorms (meaning the buildings, not the individual rooms) may still separate genders, often by floors or “wings.” But many colleges just mix things up, with female and male roommates living next door or across the hall from each other.
