What grades do you need for Manchester Met?
Many courses will also ask for specific subjects at GCSE and/or A-level or equivalent. Where GCSE subjects are required you will always need at least a grade C or grade 4, and for some courses, you’ll need higher grades. For the majority of foundation years, we will consider a grade D or grade 3.
Where do MMU students live?
Only students in Manchester Met halls can guarantee living in a flat with all Manchester Met students. This includes accommodation secured through us in our partner halls too – Artisan Heights, Rosamond House, New Medlock, Parkway Gate and Wilmslow Park.
Does Manchester Met do interviews?
Manchester Met may ask you to complete an interview with them or your education agent if we feel we need to gather further information from you and to assess if you are in a position to pass UKVI’s genuine student test. If you are asked to attend an interview, don’t be phased.

Cavendish. In the heart of the University campus, Cavendish has a great social atmosphere, a central location and is one of the best value for money halls on offer by Manchester Met. Each flat has approximately 13 rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities, or there are ensuite studio flats available.
Does MMU have dress code?
No student shall wear blouses, t-shirts, singlet, tank tops or any clothing which bares the shoulders and armpits and/or belly, within the University.
Does MMU have uniform?
MM(DU) also follows a dress code for the students whereby the students are expected to be dressed up as established norms while attending classes, in the library, labs, during examinations and for formal functions of the University.
