Can I take any train with Trainline ticket?
You can only take the train that you have reserved i.e. the one which you have been issued a ticket for. If you wish to depart earlier or later, you can exchange your ticket or cancel it and re-book it, depending on the fare conditions. Once you have done this, you can then choose a new departure time for your ticket.

Is Trainline and Railcard the same?
Basically, you buy an annual railcard, and then when you buy tickets from Trainline, you get discounts on train fares each time you use it. For most people who make more than just a couple of trips each year, you will find the discounts more than cover the cost of the railcard.
Does Railcard count on tube?
You cannot buy Network Railcard discounted tickets for journeys wholly on the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway. However discounted tickets bought for cross-London rail journeys which involve travel on the London Underground are permitted.
Where do I attach my Railcard to my Oyster?
To link your Oyster card and railcard, you need to take your Oyster card and your railcard to an Underground station, Overground ticket office or some National Rail ticket offices and ask the clerk to add your discount entitlement to your Oyster card. It will be valid until the expiry of the railcard.
