Dogs are allowed in certain parts of the reserve only and must always be on a lead. A map can be obtained from the visitor centre. The All Wales Coast Path goes through the reserve.
Can you take dogs to wetlands?
No dogs are allowed on site (except assistance dogs) – even the best-behaved dogs can frighten wildlife and disrupt habitats. No alcohol is allowed at Walthamstow Wetlands as it is a Thames Water operational site as well as a nature reserve.

Can you bring dogs to falling water?
Pets are not permitted in Fallingwater, at the Visitor Center or on the grounds around the house. While we suggest you don’t leave pets in your car, please use caution if you choose to do so.
Can dogs go to Bottomless lakes?
Here the visitor will find a sandy beach for swimming and the opportunity to rent paddleboards and pedal boats during the summer months. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the park and on the beach.
