How does pay by phone car parking work?

Can you pay by cash in NCP carparks?
Our ticketless car parks don’t accept cash payments. If you don’t have a debit/credit card available, you can use our Pay Later option. You need to drive out the car park to activate this payment method and ensure that you pay within 24 hours of leaving the car park.
Do you pay for NCP parking before or after?
On arrival at the entry barrier, your number plate will read and a ticket automatically issued. Keep your ticket safe as you will need this on exit. When leaving the car park, at the exit barrier insert your ticket for your parking to be validated.

How do I pay by card at a car park?

- Press blue ‘+’ button to enter the amount of parking time required.
- Check the amount on the LCD screen.
- If correct press green button with the ‘tick’ symbol.
- Enter PIN number and confirm when prompted by the machine (message shown on LCD screen)
Do you pay on the way out of NCP?
You can pay for your parking up to 48 hours after exiting. You can Pay later online for your parking. Please note some of our ticketless car parks don’t offer Pay Later.

How do I pay at NCP parking?
Car parks signs will tell you where the pay machines are located. Enter your vehicle registration number on the pay machine screen, and you’ll be shown all unpaid parking sessions for that vehicle registration number. Choose the session you need to pay for and pay using your credit/debit card or contactless device.
