We welcome dogs at YSP, except in our indoor spaces. Please keep your dog on a short lead at ALL times and clean up after your dog.

You pay for parking but there is no entrance fee. Current parking is £7.50 which is nothing when you consider what it includes and how long you would spend there. The exhibitions change regularly so I go as often as possible. We went to here and The Hepworth in the same day, which was maybe a mistake.

Are pets allowed in Grounds for Sculpture?

All pets and sports equipment must be left at home. For the health of your pets do not leave them in vehicles. Service animals are always welcome.

Sculptures are not designed to be climbed. For your safety and to protect the artwork, climbing sculptures is never allowed. Grounds For Sculpture has a lot of land to explore. It is important that students and kids stay with an adult at all times.

Is sculpture by the Lakes dog friendly?

We like to give our guests the space and time to fully absorb and appreciate the sculpture park and so encourage you to bring a picnic and spend the day. Due to deep and fast flowing water, unfortunately we do not allow dogs or children under the age of 14 (including babies).

Can I bring my dog to Garden of the Gods?

Off-leash area is south of Gateway Road (main entrance to Garden of the Gods Park), west of 30th Street and east of Rock Ledge Ranch Historic site. Dogs under voice command may be off leash between the signs posted on the trail. Dogs allowed in Garden of the Gods Park if on leash (up to 6-ft).

Can you take a dog to a fireworks display?

Never take your dog to a fireworks display. Even if they do not bark or whimper at the noise, it does not mean they are happy. Excessive panting and yawning can indicate that your dog is stressed.

Can you take dogs into Yorkshire Wildlife Park?

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted within Yorkshire Wildlife Park with the exception of Assistance dogs. We also do not allow dogs to be left in vehicles whilst visiting the park.

Can you take a picnic into Yorkshire Wildlife Park?

We have lots of outdoor picnic areas around the park ideal for taking a break at lunchtime. A large undercover picnic area can be found at the Pyramid tent near Into Africa!
